The Duke of Edinburgh is all about going the extra mile – gaining new skills, pushing yourself physically, helping others and exploring new territories. At the same time, you’ll gather friendships, experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

The Duke of Edinbugh Award is recognised by all colleges, universities and many employers.  It is highly respected because it shows commitment and perserverance, in a number of areas: 

Volunteering Physical Skills Expedition
3 months 3 months 3 months Plan, train for and complete a 2 day, 1 night  expedition
All participants must undertake a further 3 months in the Volunteering, Physical or Skills section. So this means you can do 6 months Volunteering and 3months each of Physical and Skills, or 6months in Physical and 3months each of Volunteering and Skills; or 6months in Skills and 3months each in Volunteering and Physical
