Exam Results 2008
Well done to our Year 11 students on their GCSE results this summer. 78% of them achieved five or more A*-C GCSE Grades and this matches our best ever results in 2007. 66% of our students achieved % A*-C including English and Maths. 108 of our students achieved ten or more GCSEs at grades A*-C, 156 achieved nine or more and 168 achieved eight or more. 168 A* grades and 492 A grades were achieved across a range of subjects.
Our first group of A level students achieved similarly high standards in their Year 12 exams (AS levels), with a large number of A & B grades. We are well on course to meeting our target of 75% of A2 grades being A-C, which will make us one of the highest achieving schools at A level as well as GCSE.
At KS3 87% of the students achieved level 5 and above in English, 89% in Maths and 76% in Science.
