First Apprentice Hopeful Gets The Boot
| Lawyer and Business woman Anita Shah was the first apprentice to be fired by Sir Alan Sugar last night. The lawyer was whisked into the boardroom after her team was unsuccessful in making the most money in a cleaning challenge. She failed to make an impact in the contest which resulted in her team losing the task and destroying any hope of her becoming the next apprentice. To the viewers at home, Anita seemed like she didn’t have the strength and determination to go out and sell products to people that she had never met before. Her big mistake was that she showed no initiative towards in terms of the finances and she congratulated the team, Ignite, for ‘staying in budget’ when really they had spent nearly all of the two-hundred pounds that Sir Alan had given them. Shah said she was "gutted" to be the first evictee. If it were not for her comment on the budget issue, she would have still had a good chance of being Sir Alan’s next apprentice, although any three of the girls put into the boardroom could have been fired, as Mona was getting too emotional in front of one of Britain’s most prestigious business men and she seemed to be a poor project manager. Debra proved to be very controlling and clearly likes to have her own way. She ruined the task for the group by not getting the contract for the ten classic cars. If they managed to retrieve this contract, they would have won by making a tremendous amount of money. The search for Sir Alan Sugar’s apprentice has just begun, but will any of the remaining apprentices have enough business acumen to pull it off?
