Course Content
This course focuses on contemporary European/World and British History. It includes:
• A study of Russia from the time of the Tsars to the collapse of communism in 1985. A trip to St Petersburg is planned for this part of the course.
• A study of Britain from 1895-1951 which examines the political, social and economic history of the country. This includes the changing fortunes of the political parties, Britain’s role in international relations and how society has changed over this period.
