The International Evening was an annual event that we Park High put on for a large crowd to enjoy. It took place on the 3^rd March 2010 at Park High School. The evening was one where we shared our diverse cultures with others. This was an evening were we as a community both share and appreciate others talents. This was put on through a very organised event. Hundreds of people came in support of the International evening. The event has been organised by the school committee annually since 2002. As well as music, dancing and a fashion show there are also speeches from students whom have migrated to the UK for a brighter future. The evening was a huge success lasting from 7:30 until 10:30 with an interval in between this included food from all around the world. Their was also a video regarding the after mouth of the Haiti Earthquake money was raised for this cause. We also watched a video from Malawi as one of our Teachers, Mr Scutt is out there. His idea was and still is to create a generator in a van so that he can take computers to schools were the children have not had the opportunity to use them before. We have raised enough money to buy three more laptops which will be sent to Mr Scutt. It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by all. A huge thanks to all that took part, the school committee and a special thanks to Ms Lambert, the organiser of this stunning event.
