Mechanics – Mathematical models in mechanics; vectors in mechanics; kinematics of a particle moving in a straight line or plane; dynamics of a particle moving in a straight line or plane; statics of a particle; moments; centres of mass; work and energy; collisions; statics of rigid bodies; elastic strings and springs.
Statistics – Mathematical models in probability and statistics; probability of the Normal, Binomial and Poisson distributions; representation and summary of data; correlation and regression; discrete and continuous random variables and distributions; sampling; hypothesis testing; confidence intervals and tests; goodness of fit and contingency tables.
