Park High's Got Talent!

The wait is over. Christmas passed and January arrived. Posters went up and notices went out. Emotions were high and the nerves were kicking in. It was time for the biggest production in Park High.

Park High is filled with many gifted pupils with a wide range of talents. Their different personalities enable them to show off new skills, and what better place to do it than Park High’s annual talent show. Every year, the school organizes a talent show where students are encouraged to express themselves and display their abilities to an audience. Mr barnes announcing the winner of the talent show

In search of Park High’s next best talent act, the participants have to audition to a member of staff to get through to the live performance, just like in Britain’s Got Talent.  The acts range from singers to dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other talents from all years.

Park High’s Talent Show may not be broadcasted on television but here at the school, performing to over three hundred people is just as nerve racking. To make it even more fun, three anonymous members of staff are chosen to be part of the legendary panel.

Park High has been holding this event for many years, long before Simon Cowell’s days. This is an exciting way to embrace the fact that we are all different and be part of the Park High tradition. This year, all the money gained from the talent show was split between two charities, Comic Relief and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We at BBC School Report were ecstatic to see so much hard work being done for this wonderful event and were delighted at the performances of these extraordinary students.
