Students at Park High School are working on the BBC Report Project. A group of year 9 students were chosen because they were particularly focused and enthusiastic in English and show a great deal of potential as writers/reports. These students will spend a day adding reports to the school website in the same way that reporters might work for the BBC.

The project is a national event with many schools taking part across the country. The students will benefit from a 'real life' experience and this will contribute to their English and ICT skills at the same time. The 'News Day' will take place on the 26th March 2009 and many articles will get posted throughout the day.

So far, students have been writing practice articles, learning how to phrase their comments and gather evidence, as well as how to use the school website management tools. Please visit on the 26th March and join with us in celebrating the students' achievements.
