Course Content
This course is designed as an exciting introduction to psychology that will teach you the basic principles and concepts that underline all psychological research. You will investigate 15 core studies that have each had a major influence on psychology and the world. You will discover whether eye-witness testimony is reliable, what happens if you split a brain in half, what makes people aggressive and much more. 
You will also carry out your own psychological investigations. Areas of psychology covered will include: Cognitive, Social, Developmental, Physiological and Individual Differences. At A2 you will focus on Forensic Psychology (crime) and The Psychology of Health. Psychology combines well with a wide variety of other Advanced Level courses, and is useful for many university courses.
