The Tiger is Back

tiger woodsTiger Woods has made his comeback from a very serious knee operation, which caused him to take a break from golf for over a year. Much has happened in his absence, other players are now making more vital wins. Tiger Woods' caddy, Steve Williams, was very worried about Tiger's comeback but doesn’t think he will perform like he did before his injury. Tiger is still world number one but the margin has been cut hugely in his absence and players are looking to take his spot.

Woods made his return at the WGC – Accenture match play on Thursday 26th February 2009, where he was the defending champion. He began his mission against world number 64, Brendan Jones. "I'm really looking forward to getting back, getting out there and competing again," said Tiger, who celebrated the birth of his second child earlier this month. Woods got to the second round where he lost 4 and 3.

Tiger woods has made a huge impact on the world of golf even whilst he's been away and the world of golf really can not wait for the return of this great champion.
