Free Easter Holiday Activities for Secondary Age Students
The Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme has launched for families to book free Easter activities and childcare for their children ( up to 16yrs).
Activities can be viewed and booked on the link - with plenty geared towards secondary age young people - https://youngharrowfoundation.org/haf-programme.
The HAF programme is a nationwide scheme that runs every school-holiday period in Harrow. It is a partnership between The Department for Education, Harrow Council, Young Harrow Foundation and DVS Foundation.
Eligibility
The clubs and are activities are FREE for families in receipt of (mean-tested) free school meals. A leaflet is attached you can share with your eligible families.
As standard with HAF in Harrow - we have a number of spaces held for families not on free school meals, but who you as a school deem to have other vulnerabilities or difficulties.
The activities
There are lots of high-quality and exciting options available - and many programmes tailored to secondary age. From multi-sports, cooking club, forest school, theatre camps, boxing, and football. There are also a number of SEND specialist programmes.
