Park High U16 Table Tennis team become Harrow Borough Champions!
On Thursday 18 April, our U16 table tennis team became the Harrow Borough Champions! It was no small feat, especially after facing tough competition like Avanti in the final. It's clear that our teams hard work, determination, and skill were key factors in securing their victory.
It's impressive to hear that the majority of the team members play outside of school, showcasing their dedication to the sport beyond the confines of the school environment.
After facing disappointment in previous attempts to win the championship, it's truly inspiring to see the team's perseverance pay off. Their determination to seize the title in their final opportunity to represent the school speaks volumes about their commitment and passion for table tennis.
The nail-biting suspense as the results from the singles matches trickled in, and the eventual triumph in both singles and doubles, must have made the victory all the sweeter. Dylan's and Saahil's performances in particular seem to have been pivotal in securing the win, showcasing their skill and composure under pressure.
