What our Staff say about working at Park High

“I have felt supported by the Learning Development Team from Day 1.  I think Park High School is a good place to progress or to build a career."

Paula Machado, Learning Support Assistant

During this term and academic year thus far, I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of teaching and learning. Throughout the past several months, I feel I have grown and strengthened my skills further. With the support of my colleagues, including especially my mentor, induction tutor and head of department, I have become much more confident and able in planning my lessons with the students' perspectives in mind, and evaluating the specific details of my lessons. The control I feel in lessons, I feel, I must attribute to my HoD and mentor as they have provided the support and encouragement I needed. They, along with my induction tutor, have provided specific feedback for improvement which I can apply to making my craft of my teaching better.

Maths Teacher

I have enjoyed forming positive relationships with both pupils and colleagues. My colleagues have been very supportive and the feedback that has been given to me has been very useful. I have had an excellent term - challenging yet rewarding.

English Teacher

I am fortunate enough to work in a very supportive school. I have learned good practice from my colleagues within my department and benefited from their constructive feedback which allowed me to grow as a new practitioner.

Maths Teacher

I have really enjoyed teaching at Park High School and the staff in the department have been incredibly supportive.

Science Teacher

I enjoy working at this school and have been fully supported throughout. The support that I have received has enabled me to grow with my practice and gain various leadership roles.
