This event will take place between 7:15pm and 11:45am on 14/02/2020 until 22/02/2020.

On Friday 14th February, pupils are required to be in school for the full day. Please ensure that you arrive at the corner of Burnell Gardens and Crowshott Avenue for 19.15 (7-o-clock in the evening) and ask your son/daughter to find Miss Wakeman to register. Our ferry crossing from Dover is at 23.20. Having arrived in Calais the coach will make its way to the resort arriving at approximately 1820 on Saturday 15 February.

We will return to Calais on Saturday 22nd February and catch the Eurotunnel to Folkstone 08.20am crossing): we should return to school at approximately 11.50am. Please ensure that there is somebody to collect your child as the coach arrives but please do not block Crowshott Avenue to enable easy parking.

All pupils will need sufficient food and beverages to cover a 20 hour coach journey. I anticipate everyone will have eaten their evening meal before we depart. It may be advantageous to give them sufficient English money to purchase a snack on the ferry crossing on Friday night. Our first meal in resort is in the evening so a packed lunch for Saturday would be advantageous. Please do not give food with extremely strong aromas due to the close proximity of the coach passengers. Water is a better option than fizzy drinks (please, no cans). If your child uses an inhaler, please ensure that they have a full one to keep with them and a spare (with a named label on it) to give to the staff to look after just in case. Any medicines (labelled) should be handed directly to Mrs Foster before getting on the coach.

The school Twitter account ( @ParkHighNews ) will be used to keep you updated during the week.

Pupils must have only one small bag to carry on the coach and ONE bag for their remaining luggage which will not be accessible on the journey. It is not recommended that pupils take valuables with them.

The coach will not come in to the school car park but will pick up and drop off on Crowshott Avenue, so please do not come directly into the school or park where the coach will require space.

It should be noted that students do not require every piece of ski clothing that was mentioned at the presentation evening because items that are already owned can be used instead. However, it is imperative that your son/ daughter is fully prepared for a real variety of weather conditions.
