Students from years 8-13 visited the Netherlands to find out about the experience of Dutch Jewry during the Holocaust. Visiting the Anne Frank House was an incredible experience and made us all reflect on how lucky we are today. We also visited Vught, the only concentration camp in Holland during World War 2. We heard the terrible stories of victims of the Holocaust including the sobering tale of one of the youngest victims of Nazi persecution… a 6 day old baby. Just before we left, we were given a chance to think about the message we want to take from this study tour. Never Again!
