Red Nose Day 2015

Last Friday, the 13th March, the whole school gathered to raise money for our national charity "Comic Relief". We all took part in the traditional Red Nose Day dress up, with different hues of red to be seen all around the school. At lunchtime, a Beat the Teacher sports tournament also took place, with students getting the chance to try and beat the P.E teachers at a variety of sports, with the chance to get half their money back if they did. The School Council also organised a Sponge the Teacher event, with a large crowd of students gathering to see some of their favourite teachers get sponged! The day in all was extremely successful, and a grand total of £2556.23 was raised. The School Council would like to thank not only the students and staff for their help in raising in such a large amount of money, but the parents/carers as well for their continued support.
