IET Faraday Challenge

12 year 7 students went to Northwood School to take part in a local heat of the IET Faraday Challenge in association with BBC micro:bit and Jack Petchey. Our students were in 2 teams competing with 4 other teams from local schools to programme micro:bits, develop a practical solution for their products and present their ideas. They made and presented so professionally a prototype of a programmed micro:bit that told you the direction of a lost devise and an alarm system that was activated by an increase in temperature. We are very proud to say that one of our teams won! They will now go onto the finals to compete with the winning teams from other areas across London and Essex.
