Year 7 Puzzle Challenge

During the last week of the summer term, Year 7 were involved in a puzzle challenge day, facilitated by the Happy Puzzle Company. The students worked in groups using large 3D puzzles. The puzzles looked incredibly easy until the students started trying to solve them. The students' task became one of turning the impossible into the possible. As Year 7 worked together, they improved their thinking and team work skills, while their confidence was boosted in the process. The day helped raise expectations of what can be achieved in the classroom, through good communication and listening, planning and a determination to succeed, no matter how difficult the challenge.
