'Move it'

Friday 16th March some of our Year 8 students attended "Move it" a Dance & Performing arts Show & Exhibition at the ExCel London.

'Move it' celebrates all types of dance and performing arts. The show was filled with performing arts and dances schools exhibiting there talents, there was plenty of live performances, dance classes and workshops that the students could watch and get involved with and explore different styles of Dance. There are lots of stalls where students could find out more information on Dance and Performing arts schools as well as places to shop.

“On Friday 16th March 2018, myself and 19 other Year 8 students went on a dance trip to ‘Move it’ held at the ExCel Centre. It was really fun! There were so many stalls to visit, some were dance companies, universities, schools and shops to buy from. My favourite stall was the Glitter shop where they put glitter on your hair or face. I tried it and my hair was like a disco ball! There was also fitness classes going on at the Move Fit studio were we took part in BodyFit and Bounce classes. The highlight of our trip was when Aston Merrygold from JLS came on stage and performed, there was also lots of other performances including Kalani from Dance Moms”. – By Kia Gajparia

The students had a fantastic day out and really enjoyed getting involved, Thank you Miss Hall for organising the trip.
