Park High Cupcake Day Alzheimer's Society

On Thursday 14th June Park High held a cupcake day to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. There was a Fantastic selection of delicious cakes made and bought by Park High Staff.

We raised £150 for the Alzheimer's Society. Thank you to everyone who donated cakes and to all of  you who came and purchased the cakes and to Mrs Pakdel and Ms Little for organising the day.

As we had some cakes left over Ms Browne kindly took them to the St Luke’s Hospice in Kenton Lane for their Visitors Room.

The Alzheimer's Society are the only UK charity investing in research into dementia care, cause, cure and prevention. They are committed to spending £150 million on cutting-edge research over the next decade. Every project they fund directly addresses the needs and concerns of people affected by dementia. Their campaigns keep dementia firmly at the top of the political agenda. They are raising awareness and pushing for a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.
