Finance Manager

Permanent Contract, Full-time (36 hours per week), all year round

Actual salary: H9/H10 (for a suitable candidate) £39,954 to £44,022 (pay award pending)

Park High School is a highly successful 11-19 mixed school with nearly 1550 students in a pleasant location in Stanmore. The school achieves excellent results and the high quality of relationships is frequently commented upon. We are looking to appoint a talented and committed individual with the qualities, skills and drive necessary to fulfil these key roles.

We are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager, who will report to the Chief Financial Officer. This key position is responsible for running the finance function of the school, including day to day effective management of the finance function to ensure that all services are provided to support teaching and learning are of high quality, conform to legislation and represent value for money.


The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, and will need to show initiative and drive in ensuring that financial matters relating to the post are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.


The ideal candidate will have a finance background, preferably with experience in an educational setting, along with good ICT skills, especially excel. An important part of the role is to be able to prioritise workload have the confidence in implementing and delivering financial information.
