Peripatetic Music Teacher - Woodwind ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Hourly rate is £30 - Zero Hours Contract

Required from September 2022. The number of hours will vary depending upon the number of students requiring lessons.

You must have performance qualifications grade 8 and above. Diplomas in teaching are desirable, with a BA or BMUS in Music or studying towards one. Experience of teaching and references from other schools will be requested. The ability to support or lead an extra-curricular activity would be beneficial but not essential.

You will be required to teach across the full age and ability range in group and individual settings as required by the Head of Music. You will be key in ensuring the highest possible standards of student achievement, development and wellbeing.

All candidates should expect an interview lesson and prepare a performance as part of the process.

Candidates ideally will hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and be part of the update service or be willing to complete a full DBS check.
