Science Technician (Full-time, Term Time Only)

Actual Salary: £17,598 - £19,095 (H04 £20,667 - £22,425)

We are seeking to recruit a science technician to join our innovative and successful science department. The postholder will be responsible for the maintenance of 3 science laboratories and for preparing apparatus, equipment and materials required for lessons.  The successful candidate will have excellent practical and organisational skills, the ability to solve technical problems and an understanding of health and safety issues relating to the safe operation of science laboratories and preparation areas.

Park High School is a highly successful 11-19 mixed school with nearly 1600 students in a pleasant location in Stanmore.  The school achieves excellent results and the high quality of relationships is frequently commented upon. Ofsted (2013) judged the school outstanding in all areas and in early 2014 we were designated a National Teaching School. We are looking to appoint a talented and committed individual with the qualities, skills and drive necessary to fulfil this key role.
