by Mariam and Janae in Year 7
Today we are here to report to you on why going to Wireless Festival would be such a great thing to do at least once in your whole lifetime. This festival happens every year in London, yet it has once been held in West Yorkshire. This festival has always staged top selling artists, making it one of the most popular festivals in London.
It was first founded in 2005 by Live Nation. In its first year, in Hyde Park, the tickets were £35 a day. Some of the acts included Moby, Hard-Fi and The Bravery. In 2018 Wireless is the ‘big thing’ with everyone talking about it. When writing this article, my 16-year-old sister offered to tell me everything about it. Some of the headline acts are female rapper Cardi B, ‘Rockstar’ singer Post Malone, Brit award winning Stormzy, Not3s and DJ Khaled. Fans are expecting Mabel to make a guest appearance to sing new song ‘Fine Line’ with Not3s.
One Park High student said, ‘If I was to go to this festival then I would go on Sunday to see artists such as Lil Pump, Mist, Not3s, Cardi B and DJ Khaled’. It will be a fun-filled day for whoever decides to go.
The flashing lights and amazing voices will make it an unforgettable experience. Reviews from last year say that it was amazing and felt generally safe.
