Park High gives Priestmead Library an Artistic makeover

On Friday 2nd February three Park High students and Mr Lordan Art teacher here a Park High, attended the opening of their art work at the new Priestmead primary school Library.

Mr Lordan was approached by Priestmead about the Makeover in November. Three of Park High Year 10 Art students were chosen to take part in the project Sofia, Adela & Takwa.

Below is a picture before the makeover.

They came up with a Narnia inspired Theme, and worked tiredlessly almost everyday after school for 5 weeks to complete the transformation.

On Friday 2nd February the year students accompanied by Mr Lordan attended the Grand reveal, where Michael Da Souza (author of Rasta Mouse) officially opened the Library and presented our students and Mr Lordan with awards for their hard work.

A great day launching our new library thanks to our PPA Parents, Michael de Souza @Rastamouse_irie and our friend from @ParkHighNews! - Priestmead primary

I think we can agree the girls did a fabulous job and Priestmead are delighted with the end result.

Well done to @priestmeadproud School Council, PPA, staff and students from @ParkHighNews for creating a fantastic new library for the school. The new facilities look great and were opened by Michael De Souza author of @Rastamouse_irie - Harrow Council
