Park High celebrates Belonging & Leadership in first ever House Assemblies
During the final week of May, our four House assemblies were proudly led by members of the student leadership team, showcasing their dedication, confidence and commitment to our school community.
At Park High, our Four Houses are inspired by London’s Royal Parks. They reflect our shared values, nurturing a supportive and sustainable community, making a positive impact on our environment, and honouring the history and heritage that shape who we are.
Each House is represented by a passionate student leadership team:
- Green Park: Head of House Enoh, Deputy Rhea, Charity Ambassador Ruhi
- Hyde Park: Head of House Connor, Deputy Jiya, Charity Ambassador Anaiya
- Regent’s Park: Head of House Jasmin, Deputy Ravi, Charity Ambassador Rohit
- St James’ Park: Head of House Viviana, Deputy Sengo, Charity Ambassador Yashvi
A key theme of the assemblies was belonging, one of the most fundamental human needs. At Park High, belonging means feeling accepted, valued, and connected. It is not just the responsibility of teachers, but of every student, every interaction, and every space within our school.
Students were encouraged to reflect on how we each contribute to a positive community by choosing kindness, respect and to include.
The assemblies highlighted how our House system strengthens team spirit and unity, making school life enjoyable and rewarding. Students can earn House points through effort, positive behaviour and achievement, contributing to a culture where everyone feels supported and celebrated.
We are proud to be a school where:
- Kindness and care are at the heart of everything we do
- No one feels left out
- Everyone has a voice and feels heard
- Students build friendships across year groups
- Strong, supportive relationships exist between students and staff
To recognise their hard work and commitment, the Year 12 leadership team were recently treated to a pizza reward lunch, a small token of appreciation for their excellent contributions this year.
We look forward to seeing our House leaders continue their fantastic work as they support upcoming events, including the chess finals and Sports Day.
