Update: Uniform and School Day Arrangements for Week Commencing 29th June 2026

Following this week’s period of extreme heat, we are pleased that the weather is forecast to be cooler next week. However, to ensure a comfortable transition back to normal conditions, we will be maintaining an adapted approach to uniform for the full week.

Uniform Expectations (week commencing 29th June 2026)

Students may continue to:

  • Wear school PE kit, provided it meets our published PE kit requirements
    or
  • Wear full school uniform without blazers or ties
  • We recommend that students keep layers light and avoid unnecessary items such as jumpers or base layers where possible.

Supporting Students in Warmer Weather

Although temperatures will be lower, we still encourage students to:

  • Bring a refillable water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the day
  • Spend time in shaded or indoor areas during breaks where possible
  • Apply sunscreen before school if appropriate
  • Avoid overexertion during warmer parts of the day

Return to Normal School Day

From 29th June, the school will return to its full timetable:

  • Students are expected on site by 8:30am
  • The school day will end at 3:10pm, other than for students who are required to stay later for detentions or interventions.

We will continue to monitor conditions and will update you if further changes are required.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
