Update: Uniform Arrangements for Week Commencing 6th July 2026

With temperatures forecast to increase again next week, we will continue with our adapted uniform arrangements to help ensure students remain comfortable and able to learn effectively throughout the school day.
At present, there is no Red Weather Warning in place. Therefore, school will continue to operate with the adaptations outlined below. We will keep the situation under close review and will communicate with families promptly should any further changes become necessary.
Uniform Expectations (week commencing 6th July 2026)
Students may continue to:
- Wear school PE kit, provided it meets our published PE kit requirements
or
- Wear full school uniform without blazers or ties.
Please do not mix and match PE kit with formal uniform.
We recommend that students keep layers light and avoid unnecessary items such as jumpers or base layers where possible.
(Full uniform and PE kit expectations remain available on our website.)
Supporting Students in Warmer Weather
We encourage students to:
- Bring a refillable water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the day, filling their bottles at break and lunchtime
- Spend time in shaded or indoor areas during breaks where possible
- Apply sunscreen before school if appropriate and topping up at break and lunch
- Avoid overexertion during the warmest parts of the day.
School Day Arrangements
We are currently expecting the school day to operate as normal next week:
- Students are expected on site by 8:30am
- The school day will end at 3:10pm
- Detentions and intervention sessions will continue as required.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and will provide updates if any further changes are needed.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
