Book Tennis Courses

This summer, Barnet Youth Engagement ServicePositive Activities  and Middlesex University have teamed up to offer your students a fantastic opportunity to learn Real Tennis for Free on our  Real Tennis Summer ProgrammeClick HERE to book a course.

Real Tennis is the original form of Tennis, famously played by Henry VIII and was the inspiration for many modern games, such as Lawn Tennis. Real Tennis is a game where creatively, subtlety and strategy are as important as strength, power and speed. The game is played in an asymmetrical court which contains many unusual features such as sloping roofs, openings in the walls and a buttress sticking out from the main wall, which causes the ball to change direction. To find out more about Real Tennis at Middlesex, watch Middlesex University’s Real Tennis video HERE.

For the courses, your students are required to wear sporty clothing, clean sole trainers and to bring a packed lunch.
