Anti-Bullying Week 2019

This week is Anti-Bulling Awareness week. The question we have asked our students about this week is about whether change is possible. As a school, can we work together to make the world better for the people around us?

On Wednesday 13th November we had a Pledge Activity at Lunchtime in the Main hall . Students came along and made a pledge to say what ‘Small Changes’ they could make.

Students also created ‘Lollipop moments’  for our school community, students who made a pledge, were given a lollipop, with the idea that they would give it to someone who you thought deserved or needed it or someone who would have really appreciated it.

Bullying is still a problem in the world today. It may affect us in our schools, at home or online; many of us will be affected by it in some way at some point in our lives. Something needs to change. But what?

This week, we wanted hear the students voices on bullying! In their classes, they discussed possible ways to reduce bullying, how to make schools happier and safer for everyone, Things they might like to change, or something they may already do that others could learn from.
